Data trapped in separate platforms
Finance, sales, projects and operations maintain different records. Teams spend time reconciling figures instead of acting on consistent information.
Connect what your business already relies on. Architect what comes next.
Your ERP, CRM, legacy platforms, operational applications and data sources were not necessarily built to work together. Syncloops helps define the architecture, interfaces and delivery plan that connect them—without replacing functional systems simply to create a new platform.
Enterprise systems integration is the process of connecting existing software, data sources and digital services so information and business events can move between them in a controlled way. Solution architecture defines the interfaces, data ownership, security, reliability and deployment approach needed to make those connections useful and maintainable.
The obstacle is not always missing software. Often, essential business information is fragmented across systems, employees reconcile it manually, and the cost of every new integration keeps rising.
Finance, sales, projects and operations maintain different records. Teams spend time reconciling figures instead of acting on consistent information.
Staff repeatedly export, re-enter or compare data between applications, adding delays and opportunities for errors.
One-off connectors lack documented interfaces, monitoring, error handling or an accountable owner when a vendor changes an API.
The right scope might be a focused API connector, a data-integration layer or a wider modernization roadmap. Each service is evaluated against existing capabilities, security requirements and the cost of long-term ownership.
Design system boundaries, integration patterns, dependencies, data movement and target-state architecture before implementation. Provide diagrams, interface inventory and phased recommendations.
Assess connections between ERP, CRM, procurement, project management, field systems and specialized platforms using supported interfaces and agreed data ownership.
Specify API contracts, authentication, access controls, payload mapping, versioning, rate limits, retries and error responses for selected integrations.
Map source-of-truth records and data transformations. Define synchronization timing, reconciliation, validation and exception handling without assuming that all data should be centralized.
Evaluate whether an existing platform can be retained, wrapped with services, integrated progressively or replaced in stages. Weigh vendor support and migration risks.
Plan observability, support ownership, incident escalation, technical documentation, credential management and post-launch change procedures.
The diagram illustrates an architectural option, not a prebuilt Syncloops integration platform. The actual topology may use direct APIs, an existing iPaaS, middleware, event-driven integrations or scheduled exchange—depending on the client environment.
Illustrative architecture only. No product, integration vendor, response time or availability level is implied.
Architecture should consider what each source system actually exposes, how quickly data must move, and who will maintain each connection. The following are approaches to evaluate—not features assumed to exist in every platform.
Useful when one system needs an immediate response. Assess latency, timeout, authentication, quotas and error behavior.
Useful for decoupling workflows when source systems support events or a suitable message layer. Plan retries and idempotency.
Appropriate for systems with exports, imports or limited access. Account for data freshness, mapping and failed-file recovery.
Consider existing integration platforms before custom-building connectors. Check licensing, operations, exit costs and portability.
Determine which system owns each critical entity, the meaning of shared fields and how conflicts are resolved.
Define credential custody, authorization boundaries, logging sensitivity and approval responsibilities across all interfaces.
These are possible client situations to illustrate scope. They are not published implementations or claimed results.
A project organization manages schedules, engineering files, procurement and finance on different platforms. Teams need a defined data map and controlled exchange between permitted interfaces.
A manufacturer operates shop-floor or maintenance applications separately from ERP, inventory and quality records. The challenge is deciding what to exchange and how frequently.
An established application remains operationally important but offers limited modern interfaces. Replacing it immediately may increase delivery risk.
Begin with an architecture and integration assessment. We identify what should stay, what can connect, what cannot be promised before vendor review, and which phase delivers the clearest operational value.
We structure the work into decision gates with testable outputs, so scope, ownership, vendor constraints and implementation risks are visible before a full rollout.
Review applications, user journeys, data objects, stakeholders, current pain points and existing contracts.
Validate interfaces, documentation, vendor permissions, iPaaS options and security or regulatory dependencies.
Define flows, source of truth, API contracts, exceptions, non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
Where approved, build a bounded proof of integration; test data mapping, failures, authorization and recovery.
Document environments, monitoring, credentials, responsibilities, change procedures and any separately agreed support.
A systems integration engagement does not mean creating an entirely new software product. The decision can be to retain, configure, connect, modernize or replace a component only when justified.
| Approach | Best fit | What to assess |
|---|---|---|
| Existing connector / native integration | Supported standard connection already covers the workflow | Edition, subscription, field coverage, API quotas, vendor support |
| iPaaS or integration middleware | Multiple maintained connectors or orchestration needs justify a platform | Recurring fees, lock-in, monitoring, data residency, exit plan |
| Targeted custom integration | Unique mappings or rules cannot be covered responsibly by standard connectors | Development, test environments, error handling, maintenance ownership |
| Platform modernization | A legacy dependency blocks safe integration or future support | Migration risk, business continuity, data quality, phased replacement |
Integration architecture must define who owns data and endpoints, who can access them, what happens when systems disagree, and how failures become visible. Applicable Saudi and sector requirements are reviewed per engagement—not presumed to be satisfied.
Define authentication, least-privilege service accounts, secret management and authorized data flow between systems.
Identify personal or sensitive data, retention, transfer and hosting questions; review applicable Saudi PDPL and sector obligations with the client.
Plan retries, duplicate-event prevention, fallback, timeout handling, alerts and recovery ownership according to agreed criticality.
Check API access, platform edition, licensing, documentation, version policy, third-party approval and support restrictions.
Document systems of record, export rights, integration artifacts, client-controlled accounts and contractual handover.
Specify support coverage, environments, change requests, acceptance tests and what requires a new phase or vendor contract.

Systems integration connects existing applications, services and data sources to support shared business workflows. Software development builds or extends applications. A project may need both, but integration can often proceed without replacing the core software.
Potentially. Feasibility depends on the actual software edition, API or export access, licensing, vendor permissions, data quality and security policies. We verify each interface before confirming scope.
Not necessarily. A direct native connector or supported iPaaS may be simpler and cheaper. We compare options using complexity, recurring charges, monitoring, maintainability and vendor lock-in.
It reviews the systems, process requirements, data relationships, technical interfaces, constraints and delivery alternatives. Typical proposed outputs include an integration inventory, architecture diagram, risk register and phased implementation plan; final deliverables are agreed in the statement of work.
Often that is the preferred starting point. We evaluate supported methods to connect the existing system and preserve operational continuity; replacement is considered only where limitations justify it.
An integration design should define validation, retries, reconciliation, exception visibility and ownership. Exact mechanisms depend on the available interfaces and the operational importance of each data flow.
Applicable requirements must be determined for the organization, sector and data involved. We can assess relevant technical controls and design responsibilities, but do not claim automatic PDPL, NCA or sector compliance without formal assessment.
Deliverable ownership, licenses, source code, API credentials, production accounts and support responsibilities should be agreed in the contract. We favor client control of business data and production credentials.
Costs depend on system count, interface quality, mapping complexity, security and testing, middleware licensing, data migration, hosting and support. A scoped assessment is needed before a defensible commercial estimate.
A simple supported connector differs substantially from a multi-system program. Timelines are estimated only after access, dependencies, testing needs and rollout constraints are understood.
Tell us which platforms you currently use, which data needs to move and where workflows break down. We will help frame the technical assessment, viable options and integration boundaries before implementation.

Syncloops.
